The Instagram Yearbook (London)
The Photo Republic of London is thrilled to announce its first project
Over the next year, we’ll be setting a weekly topic and the best images will be invited to be part of the first yearbook.
There will be 52 weekly themes run on a dedicated Instagram feed. The project will culminate in a feature book of the best urban photographers in London on Instagram. The cover of the book will be selected by from a pool of the best weekly pictures. Each week, we’ll choose three finalists and followers will of the official Instagram feed will get to pick the winner. One of these 52 pictures will be the cover.
The first competition post will be published on Sunday, January 31.
The first challenge will close on Sunday, February 7 (noon).
Three finalist shots will be selected by Del, which will be announced on Sunday, February 7 (around 8pm). Followers of @tpro_ldn will then be asked to vote on their favourite photo with the winner to go into the pool to win a chance to be featured on the front cover of the book.
Voting will be open for 24 hours and will close at 8pm Monday, February 8.
The winner will be announced on Monday night by 8.30pm – the winner will be determined by the number of likes on the finalist photos.
The next theme will be announced on Tuesday morning, February 9.
