24th June is National Flash Fiction Day and we’ll be celebrating with some events nearer the time. Meanwhile, we’re having a warm-up session this weekend to get us in the mood. So get those quills, typewriters, pens and pencils, laptops, computers, smart-phones and cameras fired up and ready for action.
On Friday evening (12th May) we’ll be issuing two prompts – one for photographers and one for authors. Participants will then have 48 hours to respond to them and submit either a poem, a piece of flash fiction or an image. Flash Weekend is not part of the main Urban Flash project, but it’s a great chance to get into training for the main event in June. There will also be the opportunity for participants to receive feedback on their Flash Weekend submissions. More info with the prompts on Friday ….
